Archive for October, 2010 iPhone app available on app store

The new iPhone application is finally available on the app store, after months of hard work. It was a lot of fun working together with the HAR team iterating this application to what it is right now, and the app itself is a great mobile companion to the web site.

Houston home searchers (and realtors) are lucky to have such a group of people driving to get as many tools out there for local users.

Now to the next version with more features and improvements!

ASIHTTPRequest and json-framework presentation

I presented at the August 2010 meeting of the Houston iPhone Developers meetup about two great open-source projects for iPhone developers: ASIHTTPRequest and json-framework.

I started on the presentation at the May meeting, but never completed because we were running out of time. This time I finished the presentation, and we discussed the details of using ASIHTTPRequest and json-framework to build a dynamic iPhone app that displays data on a UITableView.
